An Afternoon at Work

On Friday we took a big trip to see everyone at work. Andrew did great and only started to cry for food once everyone had been visited......thank goodness. I wonder how many more diapers I will change on my desk???

Nana and Auntie Stacey Leave

Well, today was a sad day. Nana and Auntie Stacey flew out to go home. It was a sad morning but hopefully we will be planning another trip for the summer. The time flew by way to fast. I learned lots of great tips from Auntie Stacey....who says never underestimate the power of the butt tap.

2 weeks old

Andrew is two weeks old today. He seems to be growing more and more everyday. We had a doctor's appointment today and he now weighs 7 lbs 4 ozs and has grown over an inch. He is now eating 5 ounces of formula, 8-9 times a day! No wonder why he is growing!

9 days old

After many months of planning Auntie Stacey finally made it to Iowa. She bonded with Andrew right away and even took care of him all night Friday night. Wow....what a difference a full night sleep made for me and especially Nelson.

We had two special visitors on Friday......

Dr. M. came over to meet our new little addition. I think they got along great! Andrew even opened his for the occassion.

Also Auntie K also came for a visit and fed Andrew.

Andrew Day 7

Andrew is a week old today. Where is the time going? It is flying by...... He had his first trip to Target today and was an angel. Of course we weren't gone very long but it was good to get out of the house. Andrew spent most of the day sleeping and eating. Boy can he eat!

Andrew loves his pacifier!

A Snowy Day in Iowa

After a weekend of bad weather we have a winter wonderland outside our house. Although in the next day or so it is going to be slushy and yucky, might as well enjoy it while we can:)

The First Snowfall of the Year

Well, we got snow yesterday...and I wasn't prepared for the cold temps or the fact that I had to clean off my car after work. I didn't even have gloves with me...what was I thinking.
It was very pretty and snowed for an hour or so. Nelson worked up north yesterday where they got anywhere from 5-10 inches. See the pictures. It was late when I got home so it doesn't really show how pretty it was.
Everything is going well with the pregnancy. I have felt the baby move but not that frequently. We are just looking forward to our big trip at Christmas.
