Happy VDay!

What a great day we all had. The day started very early! Andrew woke up at 4am , went back to bed for a little while and then woke up for good at 5am. We started the morning with blueberry pancakes, Andrew's favorite and then opened our Vday candy and ate some chocolate. Who could ask for a better start to the day!
We played for awhile, Andrew went outside and shoveled snow with Nelson. Then Andrew and I went to Kindermusik class which was tons of fun. After naptime we headed to the big city...Des Moines to get Andrew new shoes. We all ate at Jason's Deli which was a great choice as we were in an out in no time.
Andrew has been a character this week and has been letting it be known what he wants. We have had some interesting mornings getting dressed...but somehow we do make it out the door. Andrew told us yesterday, "Andrew like snow". He is starting to refer to himself by his name. We are really in to train books right now, reading them before bed and right after waking up in the morning. I love it, reading is very relaxing!
I will post pictures soon.

It has been a great weekend here, it hit 50 degrees yesterday. We enjoyed several hours outside in the slushy melting snow, lots of puddles to jump in!
Today Andrew and I rode to the library on the bus. Andrew gets so excited to get on the bus and talked about it all day until we went. Once we were at the library we looked at books for a little while but then he was anxious to get back on the bus to go home.

A new experience

We took Andrew to India Palace to try Indian food tonight. He loved the naan bread dipped in yogurt...yummy....
He has had a great week and even got to go outside and roll in the snow today in the morning and afternoon. We could tell he was able to go out as he was exhauted tonight.
We recently purchased two new train books and Andrew hasn't wanted to read anything else since, we are always talking about them.
When I pulled into the driveway tonight Andrew saw Nelson's truck and said "Daddy's home", it was so cute.
I will be posting more pictures soon.
