Another blustery day!

Well.....Ames got another snow fall last night. The snow coming down was really very pretty last night and with all the Christmas lights up in the neighborhood it really got me into the Christmas spirit.
So, I had my first experience this morning of not being able to stop at a traffic light because the roads were so icy. I really didn't know what I should do but made a quick decision to not worry about stopping and to keep going. All worked out, but boy my heart was pounding. I am thinking that I may start having Nelson drive me to work.....he offered!
I need to get to work......Hope everyone has a nice day.

Nelson wrestling with the girls. Sugar Bear decided to lay on me because there wasn't anymore space left for her, she is a little too heavy to be doing this.

I am up to no good!

Kacie poses in front of the tree.

Here is little Lily, at least she is sitting next to the tree and is not destroying it.

Thanksgiving pictures

They are all mine:), just kidding

Here is Nelson outside cooking the turkey. It doesn't look very cold since we weren't wearing our jackets, but it was FREEZING!

Is it too much to ask to have a picture with all the girls? This one was hard to get.

Here is Nelson carving the turkey. Our friend Paola joined us as well. We stuffed out faces :) The turkey was great....all the little crispies from the outside were yummy!

Monday November 21st

Dear all, the snow is all gone, it all melted, boo hoo.
Hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving. As for us, we will be staying right here. Nelson is going to fry a turkey (yummmmyyyyyy) and we are going to relax. Sounds great!
Not much else going on. We had a really nice weekend, but of course it was too short.

The first Ames snowfall

Here we are (me and my friend Katherine) outside the vet school for the first snowfall of the year. Poor Katherine, I dragged her outside to get this picture. I think I was one of the few excited about seeing the snow.
